Medicare Rebates
If you are referred by your General Practitioner or Psychiatrist under a Mental Health Care Plan, you can access up to 10 sessions per year. The rebate applies to both tele-health and face-to-face appointments. The current rebate for Clinical Psychologists is $141.85 for a 46-60 minute appointment.
Private Health Insurance
Some private health insurance companies provide rebates for psychological services. Please check with your provider to see if you are eligible. We will provide you with an invoice which will allow you to make a claim. Please note that we no longer accept clients coming under WorkCover.
At Indigo View Psychology, the sessions are 50 minutes long and the rate is:

The current Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended fee is $311 or a 46-60 minute session.
Please speak with our practice manager if you are experiencing financial hardship. If you require Bulk Billing sessions, you will need to speak with your GP so that you can be referred to a bulk billing practice.
If you require a report or letter for specific a purpose (e.g. court), the standard rate will apply for report writing time. Please see a forensic psychologist if you require a court report.
Cancellation Policy
To ensure that our business can run smoothly and so that we can take care of all of our clients, we require notice if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. To avoid paying a cancellation fee, please provide us with more than 48 hours warning if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
When less than 48 hours’ notice is given for cancelled sessions $100 (+GST) will be charged.
